My name is Justine Newberry, and I would love to meet you and your furry family! As the owner of HUTC and a pet stylist, I want you to know I care about your animals as much as my own. I am a pet lover and mom to many four-legged kiddos, including traditional… and not. I have three small dogs (Bowman, Peanut, and Cashew), a cat (Nyx), sugar gliders (Clark, Bruce, and Barry), and a gecko (Avery). Phew!

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Las Vegas in 2020 after graduating from Northern Arizona University. I have always been creative and loved my time working for pet stores throughout college, so I decided grooming would be a way to combine several of my passions. I ended up adoring the industry and have dedicated the last six years to learning as much as possible to be able to provide the best services to my clients. I love every aspect of grooming, from the health and wellness side to the glamorous haircuts.

I am a certified professional groomer through Petco, and have taken continued education courses in order to further develop my skills. I have attended countless education courses at the local Superzoo Pet Expo over the years, several Jess Rona Grooming Courses, and am PetTech CPR and First Aid Certified.

Alex Mora

My name is Alexandra (Alex) Mora, and I am thrilled to be part of the HUTC family! I studied art and design in college, and love translating that into my career as a groomer now by providing beautiful and creative grooms. I am a certified professional groomer through Petco, in addition to several years grooming in private salons. All together, I’ve been in the industry for nearly 15 years! I am PetTech CPR and First aid Certified, am a Senior Pet Care Specialist, have completed the National Cat Grooming Institute’s Cat Grooming Basics course, and more. I look forward to learning even more and providing the best care possible for my clients.

Abi Cartwright

My name is Abi Cartwright, and I am so happy to be the newest member of the HUTC family! I started in a corporate salon as a bather, but wanted to expand my knowledge and express my creativity through pet styling. This led me to save up and pay out of pocket for grooming school here in Las Vegas, receiving a certificate and tons of experience with furry friends!

I am originally from Sacramento, but have lived in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas for most of my life. I have spent almost a decade of that time petsitting for local families and building relationships with the community, so I’m glad I have the opportunity to keep exploring this town in the grooming van.

While I care for dogs and cats all over town, my family’s personal pets include a black Irish Setter mix named Kona (nail trims’ #1 biggest hater), an adorable cat named Sabrina, and a cockatiel named Dragon.
